Boise, Idaho

We left Idaho Falls a couple of weeks ago. We are on our way to another national park (which will be revealed in the next several days). However, I needed to fly back to St. Louis for a week to check on and visit with my parents.

Boise was the only city “on our way” (sort of 😬) into which Southwest Airlines flew. We charge everything on a Southwest VISA card, and we get one Rapid Reward point for every dollar we charge. That really helps when we are gone long enough that I need to fly back.

I didn’t get to see much of Boise and the surrounding area because I was only there a few days, then flew to STL for a week, and then flew back to Boise. I only had a few days back in Idaho, and now it’s time to head to a new location.

We stayed about 40 minutes west of Boise at an RV park called Country Corners RV Park and Campground whose address is actually Caldwell, ID. This park is pretty much in the middle of “no where” but it is nice. It’s not a “destination” campground, but they sure are busy, the people are really nice, and they are nearly full every night. Plus, they have the most gorgeous flowers here this summer that I’ve seen in a long time.

Since we don’t like to drive much more than 3-4 hours a day, it will take us three driving days to reach our next destination.

So, for now ….. “On the Road Again!” (LITERALLY!) 😁
