Today was Flag Day….a day that has special meaning to me for various reasons. I read this post over at “The Retiring Sort” a couple of days ago and wanted to share it with you. She expresses my feelings about our flag, its symbolism, and what it stands for (as well as the flags of other countries) better than I ever could have.
